Polar Plunge
So colorful and festive. So cold! The temperature was about 11 degrees on this day right in the heart of a Chicago winter. I think that with wind chill the temperature hovered around 0. That didn't dampen joyous waves upon waves of participants charging into the arctic conditions of Lake Michigan for no other reason but the right to boast that they had done it. And that didn't stop me, fingers numb even under 3 layers of gloves, from being crazy enough to bear witness to the revelry.
